Tiki Toad

In this piece, I enlarged a lino-cut toad I had made during my undergraduate days. He is composed of batiks and commercially purchased hand-dyed fabrics. The eye is machine embroidered and appliqued in place. Construction techniques include patchwork and applique. The piece is machined quilted.
