Route 33 Summer Morning

Machine pieced and appliquéd using commercial cottons and tulle netting. This piece is inspired by the view of the water towers on Route 33 on my daily commute as you approach the city of Athens. I have seen these towers in all lighting and weather conditions and always find them fascinating. They are my haystacks.
