Machine pieced and appliquéd, using commercial cottons, cotton lame, and silk. This piece is inspired by a photo I took of the water tower in Gaffney, South Carolina, we drove by on a trip with my grandparents in their RV I have re-created this image in multiple media, including watercolor crayon and machine embroidery. It always makes me smile.
