Machine and hand embroidery recreate the two water towers which are part of the landscape on the route from my home to the city of Athens. I have observed these towers through all atmospheric and lighting conditions over the past twenty years and they give me much pleasure for such a mundane object. The finished embroidery is sewn to a canvas which has been painted with acrylics.
