A happy little bird of applique sits amid a machine and hand embroidered landscape. The pinks of the quilted frame are reminiscent of the happy pinks of childhood memories. Jaunty hand embroidered spirals and dots complete the picture. This piece also incorporates mica chips trapped beneath tulle. It has exhibited nationally as part of Quilt National 2005.
