Waiting for Harvest

Waiting for Harvest
5 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Another piece done as part of Robin Atkins Bead Journal Project (each participant committed to making one bead embroidery of their chosen style, in their chosen size, per month for one year). This piece began with the rabbit. He looked like he was waiting for something. Obviously it was the bumper crop ripening in the garden. He knows that all good things come to those who wait, a lesson for us all. Chech glass beads are used, as well as a Balinese rabbit and a mother of pearl bead for the moon.
