Photo transferred image from my personal journal formed the base for this piece. The spring I worked on it was very cool and wet, and the green hillside around my home was peaceful and soothing. I chose to bring these colors into the piece, using sequins to fill most of the background helped to accentuate the watery feel. The completed beadwork is mounted on canvas which has been painted with acrylic and embellished with print gocco imagery before gluing floral marbles to the surface. Copper mesh screen forms the frame.
