Queries for a book on button craft inspired this piece as I sorted through my extensive collection looking for buttons to design with. I chose the goldstone cabochon to break up the monotony of beading so many consecutive straight lines, an also because it reminds me of the giant spot on Jupiter. A childhood dream of the moon falling to earth gave me the image.Vintage and contemporary buttons, blue goldstone cabochon, Czech seed and bugle beads and sequins.
