Desert Moon II

This piece was based off of the hand embroidered Desert Moon I. I make my larger beadworks by breaking the image down into smaller individual panels, which makes for ease of beading. Each completed panel is then whipstitched together using double stranded Silamide thread before the piece is sewn to a painted canvas. Materials used include Czech glass and seed beads, bugle beads, and sequins, and techniques include both hand and machine embroidery.
